Course Description

<p>This course gives an in depth introduction to the theory and application of TCP and IP technologies used on Network Rail&#39;s telecommunications network covering the principles of the OSI 7 layer stack, general IP networking principles including encapsulation, decapsulation and relevant PDU&#39;s for each layer. Theory is then applied by building and testing a test network in the practical lab.</p>

For Telecoms Technicians / Engineers required to Fault find and maintain Cisco switches and routers used on the network. It is also suitable for NMC Analyst's, Telecoms Technicians / Engineers line managers and Project Managers/Engineers who require this level of knowledge.
